A stolen laptop poses a security risk to the company, so it is important you act quickly. 


  1. Contact Marion and cc Maureen immediately. Marion can shut down your computer's access and Maureen will begin the reporting process (for insurance, etc.)
  2. Get a police abstract. The company requires this for insurance purposes. 
  3. Complete the attached form and return to Maureen - this is also for insurance.
  4. Submit a ticket to Freshdesk, with priority "Urgent."  A stolen laptop is actually urgent. 
  5. Follow-up with Wilberforce to get a replacement laptop. This may be a loaner if a suitable laptop is not available, though we prefer to get you your full-time replacement if possible.
