A stolen laptop poses a security risk to the company, so it is important you act quickly.
- Contact Marion and cc Maureen immediately. Marion can shut down your computer's access and Maureen will begin the reporting process (for insurance, etc.)
- Get a police abstract. The company requires this for insurance purposes.
- Complete the attached form and return to Maureen - this is also for insurance.
- Submit a ticket to Freshdesk, with priority "Urgent." A stolen laptop is actually urgent.
- Follow-up with Wilberforce to get a replacement laptop. This may be a loaner if a suitable laptop is not available, though we prefer to get you your full-time replacement if possible.
