Sometimes Lenovo computers (X280, X390 & X13) may fail to turn on by pressing the power button and therefore we use the reset hole at the base of the computer to reset the PC.  This is only applicable in scenarios where:

1. A laptop does not power on, either on battery or AC power.

2. A laptop does not power down using either the operating system or the power switch.

3. A laptop does not resume from standby.

To do this, close the laptop lid and turn it upside down, then locate the reset hole as indicated on the diagram below.

Use a paperclip and press the pinhole reset for 10 seconds.  Afterward, connect your charger and power on the laptop.

If the laptop still doesn't charge or power on, contact tech support via call or raise a ticket on Freshdesk
